Mothers Daughters & Money Conference
If you were to lose your job, how long could you survive on your available funds? What are predatory lending and reverse mortgages? How do you plan to retire? Learn the answers to these and many other questions at United Way's 3rd annual Mothers, Daughters and Money Conference. This is a free event for women and girls (ages 13 and up).

Septemberfest
This is a recreational weekend for adults and Grade 12 Seniors. It's full of fun workshops on crafts and new skills and some Girl Scout training -- as much or as little as you like! Sit by the lake, enjoy great camping meals, and make new friends.

Great Escape
A relaxing, enjoyable weekend get-away for adult Girl Scouts who may pre-register for workshops or just relax for the weekend. There are many enjoyable workshops from activities you can share with your troop to new crafts to exploring the camp with GPS. There will be both a silent and live auction, with proceeds going toward improvements at Camp Wabasso.

National Council Session (National Convention)
The 51st National Council Session will take place this fall in Indiana. GSEM will send 32 elected National Delegates to represent the new council. You may attend as an official visitor, if you are a registered member of Girl Scouts and will be 14 or older at the time of the convention. Registration for girls (ages 14-17) is $175, and for adults is $245, before mid-July. A limited number of flights and hotel accommodations are available to official visitors at additional cost, on a first come, first serve basis. Submit the form below if you are interested, or would like more details.

16th Annual Leading Women Awards
Leading Women is our council's premier celebration of outstanding local women visionaries and leaders. The event fosters awareness of GSEM’s initiatives and our tremendous impact on girls.
We are looking for volunteers to serve on the Leading Women steering committee. Responsibilities include identification of potential sponsors, table and seat sales and general event help.
