When the merger took place on Feb 1, all
properties owned by the legacy councils became part of the
new council. The Board will consider property
plans that best meet girls' needs in the future. Today, all properties of the legacy councils
are equally open and available to all Girl Scouts in eastern Massachusetts.

Troops travel to camp and other facilities to take advantage of special features and equipment. All lodges are heated. Some are winterized. Some have working fireplaces and kitchens with stove, refrigerator, sink, hot water and some utensils. Bathrooms have flush toilets and showers, unless otherwise noted. Tent units have platform tents with canvas tops and sides and wood flooring. Many have mattresses and cots (check when you call or email to book a site). Fireplaces and fire rings may be used by permission and with appropriate training only. Arrangements for troop programs involving facilitators and equipment at camp must be made in advance. Appropriate safety certification is required for all water activities. Reservations or registrations are required at all properties. Troops in our council are offered in-council rates at all of these properties. |
